"When we walk with the Lord in the light of his word, what a glory he sheds on our way...." From this verse of the song Trust and Obey, we can understand some principles in our spiritual life. If we walk with the Lord, as Enoch walked with the Lord, the Lord will shine his glory upon us. So from one sentence of a song we get a word of advice from the Bible. This shows the power of Christian music. Many years ago, saints of god wrote songs, not for money, but for the glory of God. But now in the 21st century there are a whole lot of so called Christian bands with young people on the stage making noise and odd putting words together and calling it worshipping God. These young man are the same people with earrings and spiked hair. They are doing if for the money. These people are attracting children form the Christian background, and addicting them with hellish music. As long as Christian children copy or imitate these noise making worshipping, no revival will touch the Pentecostal church. If God is not receiving all glory and honor and praise, God will not revive his people.

This message is for all the young adults and teenagers, the church of God does not revolve around music or songs. Songs and music are part of the church, but it not as important as prayer and hearing the word of God. Many a time we spend too much time on singing, that we forget that we can also praise God during any part of a Church service. People think that revival will always happen when a song is sung. A true revival is when people themselves understand their lives. Revival is not started by the pastor or minister, it starts in every person by a conviction by God.

Let me turn your attention to Revelation 2:19. This passage is written to the church of Thyatira. Verse 19 says "I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, that the last are more than the first." Here God is saying He knows everything you do, there is no need to show men your works, because your Father in heaven knows and that's all that matters. But one thing you must understand, giving to the poor and loving others will not get you to heaven. You must have that true relationship with Christ. He must be the Lord of your life. Your God earthly works is not the way to heaven, but there is one way and one only and the way is Christ. Today He wants to hear your voice, your cry. He wants to be king of your life. Will you accept him? It may be the biggest decision will decide were you will spend eternity in heaven or hell. He is knocking patiently at the door of your heart. God will not burst into your life and say accept me or die. God is very compassionate, He will knock at the door it's your choice to open it or not. But remember the future damnation for those who refuse Christ, the lake of fire awaits. Thousands perish everyday without the knowledge of Christ, don't let that be you. "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."
