With God All Things Are Possible

               The Lord has enabled us to travel and embark upon the new milleneum.  In 1999, we did not live by our own strength.  Let us continue our journey trusting in his mercy.   We are serving a living God who is able to lead us again .  Let us also believe that nothing is impossible with him .

                Israelites crossed the red sea and came to the wilderness.  It did not take long for them to forget the mighty acts of God.  God saw the ungrateful and it grieved his heart.  The people were crying for meat.  God told Moses that he would provide meat in the evening and manna in the morning.  Moses was perplexed how could they provide meat for 600,000 people (about 3 million including women and children).  They needed 9000 bulls weighing at least 300lbs each in order to provide 1lb meat to each person.  God knew what he was going to do.  He was going to show his power one more time.  God is faithful but at the same time people will have to pay their rebellion.

                I happened to see a report regarding blue whales.  The blue whale (leviathan ) is the largest animal existing on the face of the earth.  A fully grown whale weighs about 300,000Lbs 100feet long 25000 Lbs at the time of birth. Unbelievable isn't it?  To provide meat for each person.  God only had to smash the head of 8 or 9 of these creatures.  Yes, that is exactly what he did.  And it came to pass at the even the quails came up and covered the camp (Exo. 16:13 ).   According to God's instruction, the wind blew and smashed the heads of these creatures.  He turned them in the form of birds and commanded them to fly down to Israeli camps. You may ask if that was true.

                  Dear friends, if God can provide wonderfully for Israelites, do you think God cannot meet your needs whether it is big or small? Don't think about the bigness of your problems but think about the bigness of your God. You can shout at the devil and say "I am more than a conqueror and by the power of His might victory is mine".  Take this challenge upon you and make the new year a victorious one.
